Weekend Fun & Layla's First Easter

Here's Layla, enjoying her first Easter Sunday, surrounded by some spring flowers and decorated eggs

Showing me her egg
It's funny how even a baby girl knows enough to
put her arm through the purse handle.
She had a great time putting all of her eggs in her basket purse
and then taking them out again
Here's Rocky & Layla but
I call this one Beauty and the Beast
Here she is making a phone call
I think she likes texting better
She really LOVES this cell phone
Here are some images form Saturday's Spring photo session.
The first few I had to caption.

Here she is sporting her new Easter Bonnet
Fun with Flowers

he loves me... he loves me not...he loves me.....
Giving her chick a hug
Here's Baby Tavi. At just one week old, this little guy was definitely the smallest at just over 5 pounds that I've photographed yet.
He was so sweet and happy to oblige during his debut photo session

He definitely like his fingers
We even got a smile
We'll be seeing more of baby Tavi over the next year.
I look forward to watching this little guy grow.

Emma Rose 3 month session

Here's the lovely little Emma Rose for her 3 month photo session.
She brought along her giant Easter Bunny to use as a prop.

During her newborn session little Emma was none too happy to change her outfits. This time around she didn't mind at all.. (Click here to see some shots from her newborn session)

The only thing she wasn't too pleased with were the hats and headbands, though her mom did manage to get some nice big smiles.

The reason I do so many "on location" photo sessions is because I have this over-sized but very friendly Rottie - Lab mix that insists on being part of every photo session that takes place in my home.
Here's Rocky's contribution to Emma's photo session.
And here's Emma's attempt at trying to either kiss or eat Rocky's nose.

Since she couldn't quite reach Rocky, she settled for her fingers.

The sleeves of this outfit remind me of angel wings

What a sweetie
I couldn't let Emma leave without getting at least a couple of shots
of her in her eyelet bonnet.

I'll be looking forward to seeing her advancements at her 6 month session.

Beach and High Key Portraits

Saturday took me to Cape Cod for a day at the beaches and sand dunes of Sandwich which started off with a session starring Emma, Kay & Jay with their mom & dad.
Next it was off to a newarby beach for a second session with Dana & Jenny

For future reference, I'd justliek to say,- Future Cover Girl....

After a slip aff the rock and into the water this is Dana's rendition of The Little Mermaid's Ariel as she came out of the water to sing "Part of your World"
I have to say, she took it well and continued right on with her individual session.
We went all out for 12 week old Layla's High Key images. She was all smiles for her mom and fascinated with the camera which at this point she probably thinks is a part of my body. I had to try out a black and white version as well as color. I haven't decided yet which I like best.
