One subject - Three Sessions & Food for though

8 year old Nina was busy this weekend with her photo sessions. We started out with Nina and sister Kaleigh in their Easter outfits, joined by a couple of Spring friends.
Nina giving her bunny and duck some love.
Kaleigh looking adorable.

Nina did a quick change into her ballet recital costume.

Nina thought it was funny as I pulled off her ballet slipper and told her to put it on again.
After the 3rd or 4th time she realized what it was I was doing.
I desaturated most of the color from the image below. I really like this effect with ballet photos.
Another quick change created this jazzy look for her tap costume.
Nina had fun showing me some of her dance steps.
Once we managed to diffuse some of her energy, and another change, we moved into her First Communion Portraits.

Here she is looking very prayerful.
She did a great job with all of her session.

Sunday I took some food photos at a taste testing for a "soon to open" Irish pub in Marshfield.
Here are some of the menu items that The Bailey will offer, and my guess, will become well known for....
We have the buffalo wings. One of the two sauces that I tasted had a heat that didn't kick in until just after eating the wingette. It was light and really tasty.
Next was the crunchy and FRESH french fries served with vinegar, ketchup or this curry seasoned dipping sauce that was yummy.
Next on the taste testing menu was fish cakes. Not being a lover of fish cakes usually, I must say that although they looked good I was hesitant to taste these. When I did give them a try. they were absolutely delicious.
These special recipe, Bailey Spring Rolls were definitely my favorite of the day.
As entree's go a totally moist and tasteful meatloaf will be a regular item. This was scrumptious!

One of the desserts that will be served is a unique Irish Bread Pudding made with Irish soda Bread!

Emma Rose 3 month session

Here's the lovely little Emma Rose for her 3 month photo session.
She brought along her giant Easter Bunny to use as a prop.

During her newborn session little Emma was none too happy to change her outfits. This time around she didn't mind at all.. (Click here to see some shots from her newborn session)

The only thing she wasn't too pleased with were the hats and headbands, though her mom did manage to get some nice big smiles.

The reason I do so many "on location" photo sessions is because I have this over-sized but very friendly Rottie - Lab mix that insists on being part of every photo session that takes place in my home.
Here's Rocky's contribution to Emma's photo session.
And here's Emma's attempt at trying to either kiss or eat Rocky's nose.

Since she couldn't quite reach Rocky, she settled for her fingers.

The sleeves of this outfit remind me of angel wings

What a sweetie
I couldn't let Emma leave without getting at least a couple of shots
of her in her eyelet bonnet.

I'll be looking forward to seeing her advancements at her 6 month session.
