A Night at the Races

The Night at the Races Benefit went off without a hitch.

We had a great turnout and loads of fun.

The benefit was a huge success and a great time was had by all!

Balloon Fest

You have to get up pretty early in the morning if you want to catch the Hot Air Balloons being assembled, inflated and launching. Up at 4:45 a.m. and heading to Hudson from Stow (where I spent the night so I wouldn't have to get up even earlier) I got to the site just as the truckloads of balloons were arriving. The entire event was over before 7 a.m. but it was awesome to watch. The photos below speak for themselves. It was an amazing dawn.

Holiday Themed Weekend

Saturday morning took me to Natalia's house for a family and holiday card session with her mom & dad.

Her aunt and uncle were visiting for the holiday weekend so they got in on the fun as well.

Saturday afternoon, Melissa, her mom and her 11 week old baby boy, Nicholas came to my house for Nicholas' first pro photo session. What a cutie he is!

He didn't know what to make of the big camera I was using and had a moment of indecision resulting in the shot below. It turned out to be one of my favorites!

On Sunday, it was time for Sierra's 3 month Babes Collection photo session. Here she is with her princess doll. we took a similar photo with the same doll when she was days old .

Since it's so close to Christmas, She sported her Santa dress and hat to get some Christmas Card shots.
Sunday evening took me to Revere for Jen and Sharon's holiday session with their boys. here's Sharon with her little guy who was sound asleep when I got there but soon perked up.

Planning his next adventure. It was a wonderfully productive weekend!

Family pics, Bridal Play it Again session, a first birthday celebration, and a Holiday Card Session

Here is Stephanie with her 3 month and 22 month old boys.

They are a couple of little cuties. This little guy had his own agenda as all 22 month old's do. One way to get him to look and smile was to have his mother stand behind me with a helium balloon and bop me off the head while I said "OW!" That got me some great shots. Oh the things I'll do for a smile!

The session was a first for Stephanie who was very pleased with the outcome. I'll be seeing this group again in the spring!
Sabrina and Jose were looking to get some creative bride & groom photos in a more relaxed setting so off we went to Elm Bank in Natick early on a Sunday morning and worked our way around to all the fun spots for photos.

This little cutie "Princess Emma" celebrated her first birthday later on Sunday afternoon. She resembled a queen rather than a princess with her cape and crown. She was very excited with all of the attention.

Layla and her family had their holiday card session.

An afternoon session when Layla hadn't had a nap and has lots of teeth coming in at once made for quite a few mood changes during this session.

I was actually wondering if I was going to have to go back because I didn't get anything use-able.We sang, gave I gave her my bell necklace to jingle. We sang some more.... and as you can see by these few not only did I get some good ones,

but I ended up lots of really great ones.
