Sandra Turns One

Here's happy little Sandra for her final of her first year sessions.

For her first birthday session we started off with her party dress.

 And moved on to the ballerina tutu with her birthday background

 Then changed it up, putting on her birthday hat and adding some balloons

 Finally bringing in the birthday cake. Here she is when she was finished with her cake.

A 90th Birthday Celebration!

This is Bill O'Brien who celebrated his 90th birthday this weekend.

Dozens of friends and family members came to help Bill celebrate his special day!

This shot was taken towards the end of this milestone celebration so we missed a few guests who left earlier but most of them remained for this final photograph.

It was a wonderful tribute.

David's First Birthday

As usual, there was a cake session incorporated at the end of David's First Birthday Session, which is always fun to watch and photograph.

He is such a happy boy!

David loves my camera, so I let him hold onto one while I took his photos with the other.
Though he's starting to take his first steps he isn't quite ready to fly solo. Happy Birthday David!

Weekend sessions - Beach Family Session - HS Senior - Quinceneara

Here's Katie and her crew on Saturday afternoon at Black Rock Beach in Cohasett.

Here's Class of 2011's Elizabeth who plans to follow in her mom's footsteps and

go into a career in nursing when she finishes high school.

Sunday evening was a Sweet 15 celebration for this lovely lady.

We started out at the Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain for some formal shots of the birthday girl and her attendants

I've noticed that traditions at these Quinceneara's differ with each culture and even within a culture. During this event the traditional changing of the shoes by the father signifies the young girl passing into young adulthood.

After her mom proceeded with the traditional crowning she presented her daughter with a promise ring. I had never seen this done before.

Two year old Ella celebrated her birthday last weekend with a trip to Chuck E Cheese's

Later in the day I went to my son's home wher my daughter in law's family had a family session at the request of her mother, Reyna.
