Maternity Sessions

These are from 2 recent maternity sessions.

First we have Casey who is expecting her first baby boy.

Below is Ruth who is expecting her first baby girl. Ruth has signed on for the Babes Colelction First Year Program so we'll be seeing her with her new baby soon.

Baby Shower

You may recognise Barbara from her maternity session that I shot a few weeks back. Her photography service package included her maternity session, baby shower photo coverage 3 maternity prints that were used for display at the shower, and a photo book with photos from the shower and the maternity session.

Her sister worked endlessly to put together this event, paying attention to each and every detail. There were lots of children, who were having a great time with the balloons and the music.

Maternity Session

Nicole had her maternity session with her husband, Joe.

Their baby boy is due to arrive around MAy 15th

They had their session at my house, which meant that Rocky had to get in on the action.

Nicole loves Rocky and didn;t mind at all that he got in on a couple of frame.

Stay tuned for the arrival of their bouncing baby boy.

Maternity Session

Barbara and Aiden are expecting their baby girl in May.

It always makes me smile when doing a maternity or an engagement session because the females are always up to the task.
Their other half is usuallly a little less enthusiastic but about halfway through I usually hear a comment to the effect of: "This isn't as bad as I thought it would be."

By the end of the session, if not before I usually get a smile or two from him.

I'll be seeing them again next month to photograph their baby shower.

Nancy's Maternity Session

As it turned out this session took place the day before he arrival of their new baby girl.

Young Mikey always makes his own fun with these sessions
When I go on location to a session, I set up my equipment and then usually ask one of the children to help me test my lights.
Most of the time the child will sit and give me their best smiles. Many times I get the best single shots of the sessions from these first few images.
When Mikey helps me, however, THIS is what I get for my test shots.

Unusual for sure, but definitely FUN!

Engagement Session & Maternity Session

I spent some time at the Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain on this lovely Sunday with Jessica & Hector for their engagement session.

I got so many great shots of these 2 it was hard to select the best ones

I always like to incorporate a heart in at least one shot

and a couple of more dramatic shots
This couple opted for 2 sessions prior to their early September wedding. We'll be doing a session on the beach just before the wedding with the entire wedding party.

Saturday the Lovely Lauren had her Maternity session which looks more like a glamour session.
