Welcoming 2 new baby girls

Here's Becky, big brother Chase, and welcoming baby Caileen.

Dad wasn't too keen on being photographed but allowed this shot which emphasised his tattoo.

Here is Chase and his new baby sister.
And some fun poses

TWINS

On Saturday I spent a few hours with 3 month old Lila & Patrick for their first photo session.
They did an awesome job and I got some great images of them with their parents, Joe and Sarah, together, and by themselves.
Because they come from an Irish heritage, Sarah asked if I had any St Patrick's Day props. although I did have some at home, I took the opportunity to sew up a beret for Patrick to wear and decorated a white headband with Kelly green trim and a green carnation for Lila to wear , then wrapped them in light green soft fleece fabric, added a green Teddie Beanie Baby. This was one of my favorites of the 2 of them together.

While Lila ate, we worked on some individual images of Patrick.
I always like to use baseball props for baby boys. What little guy doesn't dream of playing ball at some point.

Once Lila was finished eating we worked on getting some images of her with a collection of items that begin with the letter "B" (which I noticed after the fact). I was going for a Ballerina theme with the tutu, added the headband with a butterfly clip, some pink beads and a baby bear for her to hold. Many things that little girls dream of.
I played around with color on these next 2. The one below I desaturated just a bit leaving a light pink hue.
This one is a selective color as I desaturated the color from the entire image before bringing back just a hint of pink in specific area. Which do you prefer?
I had a couple of Teddie bear hats that we used for a few shots of the twins together

Mom liked my baby in the nest images so I brought the nest props even though these 2 are older than the last baby I photographed in the nest. I really loved the outcome of these images.

They look like a couple of baby birds ready to fly the coop. In the image below it gives me the sense that they are either protesting for their food or cheering for their favorite team. I any event I loved the results of this and all of their images.

In her St. Patrick's Day T-shirt and ballerina tutu she's just a little ray of sunshine

*************************************
because neither of them were feeling the photo session when we first began and their mom was trying to coax a shot of the 2 children together.
Because I thought this deserved a caption,
I've captioned the one below
"Disturbia"

As you can see by the end of the session, big brother Liam was happy to give his sister a scutch

Now your turn.... How would you caption the photo below?

Use the comment section below or send me an e-mail with your caption.

This weekend I welcomed 2 week old Gabriella to my portfolio family.

It took her quite awhile to approve of being set down by herself.

I do believe that she is used to being held at this young age and isn't sure what to make of it when she's put down. :)

In this image she was happy to give a liitle smile.

Here she is with Mr. Teddy taking a bit of a nap
Here she is with her mom, Nichole

and with her mom and dad, Jack
with her mom and Auntie Amanda
with Auntie Amanda Many blessings to this little one and her family.

Saturday's Ballerinas and Seniors

Saturday morning began with a photo session for Ella in her baptismal gown, then changing up for ballerina photos with her big sister Ava and friend.

The day proceeded with a trip to the Boston Public Gardens for Qjaquice's High School Senior Portrait Session. The backdrop was perfect with the georgeous sky and foliage reflectioning on the water and some fallen foliage leaves. We came away with a lovely assortment to choose from.
