Tatiana and Jeff wanted a "Trash the dress" session in which we didn't exactly trash the dress but just got it a little dirty. We did manage to get some great shots. Tatiana was a trooper during the outdoor portion of the session as it was hovering around 30 degrees and we were on a hill with lots of wind.
They decided to go back to where they got engaged, to Greenvale Vineyards in Portsmouth RI, for this session. Just below is the very tree where Jeff proposed.
Although the vineyard was barren it only seemed to enhance the subjects in these images.Tatiana's veil was amazing1 We had to ensure some shots focusing on it.
After a half hour or so outside we decided to go into the tasting area to ward up and get some indoor shots. With most of the indoor shots, I used an off camera flash
A little natural light goes a long way. Because it was available and streaming in through the windowed doors I had to take advantage of getting a bit more dramatic with this next shot.
The newlyweds were treated to a glass of wine to keep them warm
Moving on over to a nearby wine barrel for a few more shots using the shelves filled with wine bottles for a little enhancement

Then it was back outside before we lost the daylight
Tatiana took the opportunity to vogue one last time in her wedding gown before the session was through.
Then it was back inside for a wine tasting session. It was a fun and very productive session for these 2
On my way home I decided to wait out the traffic and stopped in to see my friend Anita who lives not too far from where I was. While there, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a couple of photos of her 2 grandchildren who were there..jpg)
Saturday morning took me to a photo session for 4 month old Sophia Rose who was the most pleasant little girl I've met. She was full of smiles 1.jpg)
Here she is with her doggie, China, who loves to give Sophia kisses. So much so that we couldn't get her to stop long enough to get a photo of china looking at the camera, so.........
nothing a little photoshop can't fix.
After Sophia's session it was off to a home portrait party. Hostess Miranda helped me by sitting for my while I tested the lights.jpg)
before settling in with big sister Frankie for a Christmas story
