Meredith & Chris Engagement session

With each wedding booked, I offer a complimentary engagement session. During this session, I get to know the couple better and get to see how they interact. It also gives me a chance to work around any camera shyness. Although Meredith thought that she was "awkward" in front of the camera, neither I nor the camera saw it. The chemistry between these two was electric!

The weather was almost perfect for our engagement session on Sunday afternoon at Pequitside Farm in Canton. Although we had hoped to have some foliage left, after Saturday's wind and rain, the trees were just about barren.

We managed to find several suitable backdrops for our shoot.

They started off with a little bit of play...

before settling into some fun and some romantic images.

I can tell already that I'll have fun on hts couple's wedding day, creating beautiful images for them!

Meredith & Chris will tie the knot in August of 2009.
