Who knew a baby shower could be so much fun!
Throw a few guys and a couple of games in the mix and off we go......
Saturday's Baby Shower for Silvia & Brian was quite an event.
There was good food, A 3 tiered cake, about 80 people, lots of gifts, and tons of fun.
The games & prizes were the highlight for me. In the first game, there were 3 baby dolls, a diaper and an outfit.
3 Male guests were asked to come up with their cell phones. The object of the game was to change the baby's diaper and put on the outfit while talking on the phone.
If you take a look at these photos, the 2 men on the right have children and made the game look easy. The one on the left however, is a bachelor. My guess is that he hasn't been around many babies.
He not only held his baby doll upside down by its feet while dressing it, but dropped her at least once on her head, dropped the cell phone on her, and totally forgot to change the diaper! It was hysterical! We know who will NOT be asked to babysit for the real baby.
And the winner is:
The second game was just as funny, when 4 couples were asked to participate. The females sat on the chairs and the men sat on their laps. The females were then given a baby bottle with 2 ounces of chocolate milk in it and on cue had to begin feeding their men.
After examining the bottle nipple, the winner was suspect to biting a hole in the bottle nipple after finishing when all others had barely managed 1/2 ounce. He did maintain his plea for innocence at all times.
All of the guests were also asked to submit a guess for the baby's birth date and weight for the Baby Pool.
My guess was 4/27/08 - 9 lbs. 1 oz. We already know it's a girl, and her name is Layla . I'll keep you posted on the winner of the baby pool once Layla arrives.
It really was the most fun I've had at a baby shower to date!
